Just a friendly, writerly reminder that the submission period for the first LitLib writing contest ends this Friday, May 3, at 11:59 Eastern Standard Time.
Writing and drinking. Five themes. 300-1000 words. Two (dos, duex, zwei) free edits from this guy right here.
Excited to read your stories/essays!

I confess… I have been drinking more than writing, though while I drink I am thinking about the contest. I think the bottle will be finished today so I can start… please dont hold me to it though!
I won’t hold you to it, but I would love to see your entry!
You can push out 300 words in two days, I know it 😉
Working on it sir… have written it. I am now following the immortal advice of Mr E Hemingway and waiting until I sober up, which should be by this evening, whence I shall edit it mercilessly from 3000 to 300 words and post as per your instructions! 😉
Hi Oliver… I have posted it and posted a comment and link on your blog… please let me know if I did the right links or do I need to do something else (the drink makes me a little forgetful!). And once again, thanks for a kick up the arse to get me writing!
Reblogged this on Shimonjames's Blog and commented:
GET GRUNK AND TALK YO TUMI OR STONED AND HAVE SOME ONE TO CONFESS WHAT YOU TELL ME STAYS WITH ME I DELIVER IT FOR U N U NYOU N ME
Thanks for the reminder! Been a busy week, but working on this today.
